Digital Fantastique Studios was founded out of an ill reaction towards mainstream media’s inability to create and promote more thought-provoking and genuine art, motion pictures and information.

Though it seems like we sometimes are living in a dumbed-down world of lies, commercial greed, and widespread, self-induced and self-medicated ignorance, we believe original and innovative media can still be produced.

Digital Fantastique Studios is the creative home for the work of actor, artist, writer, director and photographer Terry Osterhout.

Terry Osterhout grew up in Northern Michigan and has lived in New Orleans, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Fresno, Santa Barbara, and ten years in New York City before moving to Orange County, California.

He grew up wanting to be a comic book artist and writer until his vagabond lifestyle and love of edgy and international cinema inspired him to pursue filmmaking as a hobby and career.

His love of filmmaking has bled into a love of still images and photography and Terry has spent the last several years taking pictures and developing his photographic style while writing screenplays.

Terry is a self-taught artist, photographer and filmaker and has worked as an actor in NYC, as well as a director on many of his own projects.

He has written nearly 40 unproduced screenplays and has numerous movie projects in development.

His first coffee table book was released in March 2007 and his first feature film Beating Blackheart will be released in 2009.
